As a Security Officer - Telecom Access Desk in Shelby Township, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor entrances, verify credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents. By maintaining a visible presence and delivering excellent customer service, you contribute to a secure environment while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation. What You'll Do:

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.

Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and vendors with inquiries and directions while maintaining a professional presence.

Carry out security-related procedures as outlined by Allied Universal and the client site, adapting to the unique needs of a technology and media environment.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.

Participate in emergency response activities as required, collaborating with site personnel and first responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
