Job Title: Administrative Assistant I

Location: 4400 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY LI 11776

Position Overview

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant for a temporary assignment from the beginning of the year until mid-May. Exceptional candidates may have the opportunity for permanent placement-even as early as 2-3 months into the assignment.

Pay Rate: $25/hour

Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

Answer phones in a professional and friendly manner

Meet and greet clients

Set appointments and manage calendars

Perform miscellaneous clerical tasks, including but not limited to:

Pulling files

Printing documents

Sending out email blasts

Utilize Microsoft Office for various administrative tasks (basic to above basic proficiency required)

Qualifications

Prior administrative experience required (entry-level work, but seeks an experienced and professional candidate)

Friendly, patient, and enjoys client interaction

Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced setting

Must be dependable and eager to help

No previous accounting experience required

Willingness to learn additional tasks, including basic tax return preparation, if considered for a permanent role.
