Job DescriptionOverview:AIT LogoJOB SUMMARY:The Solution Architect is accountable for ensuring that solution designs support sound financial accounting practices,accuratefinancial reporting, and audit-ready outcomes.The Solution Architect is the senior functional and technical authority for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain implementations. This role owns solution design frompre-salesthrough delivery, ensures alignment to client business outcomes, and leads consultants through successful execution. The Solution Architect acts as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, partners closely with Program Managers, and ensures solutions are scalable, supportable, and aligned with Arctic IT best practices.Responsibilities:ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Solution OwnershipOwn end to end solution design for Dynamics 365 F&SCM implementationsTranslate business requirements into scalable functional and technical designsAlign thesolution and implementation approachwith executive prioritiesLead solution design efforts to produce designdeliverablesthatalign to approved scope, quality standards, and client objectivesMake and defend design decisions with confidence and sound judgmentPromotearchitectural standards and intervene when delivery decisions deviate from approved designsProposechart of accountschangesand business process changes,whereappropriateand collaboratively workwith stakeholderstodefine andimplement the changesValidate that solution designs support:Accurate subledger-to-ledger postingFinancial statement integrityPeriod close and reconciliation processesEnsure financial dimension, ledger, and reporting designs align with:Accounting standardsManagement reporting needsAudit and compliance expectationsEvaluate trade-offs with a clear understanding of accounting impact, not just system behaviorPlatform ArchitectureDefine the overall Dynamics365F&SCM platform architecture, including environment strategy, release cadence, and lifecycle governanceDesign data management and integration patterns, including DMF, dual write considerations, Azure Data Lake, BYOD, anddownstream reportingarchitectureEstablish security architecture standards, including role design, duties, segregation of duties, and compliance alignmentApprove extension and customization approaches, ensuring alignment withArctic ITbest practices,Microsoft best practices,and long-term supportabilityGovern integrationarchitecturelikeAzure services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Functions, APIs) andenforceapproved patternsOversee application lifecycle management through LCSand PPAC, including issue management, performancemonitoring, and service readinessEvaluate platform constraints and proactivelyidentifyrisks related to scalability, performance, and maintainabilityClient LeadershipLead discovery, requirements gathering, and gap analysis sessionsAct as the primary solution authority in client facing discussionsClearly communicate risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations to stakeholdersBuild trust and credibility with executive and operational leadersDelivery PartnershipGuide Functional and Technical Consultants through design and build phasesPartner with Program Managers on delivery strategy, risks, and dependenciesEnsure configurations, customizations, and integrations align with approved designsProvide escalation support, effort estimation,and solution guidance when challenges ariseExplicit ownership of:Backlog structureRequirement-to-design-to-build traceabilityArchitectural validation via work itemsPre Sales and GrowthSupportpre-salessolutioning, estimates, and demonstrations as neededContribute to proposal development and implementation approach, if neededIdentifyvalue add opportunities responsibly and communicate them to sales leadershipResearch and recommend ISV and integration solutionsTeam Leadership and StandardsMentor and coach consultants to raise overall delivery capabilityContribute to implementationmethodology, standards, and best practicesRepresent Arctic IT professio
