Director of Sales

Description We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales to lead and manage our national and international sales teams for a prominent apparel manufacturing company. This is a long-term contract position located in Seal Beach, California, offering the opportunity to oversee multiple apparel brands and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will excel in building strong relationships, managing teams, and driving strategic sales initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee national and international sales teams to achieve organizational sales goals.

Develop and implement strategic plans to expand market presence and increase revenue.

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, retailers, and industry partners.

Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.

Collaborate with senior leadership to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.

Manage house accounts and provide guidance to sales representatives to ensure client satisfaction.

Coordinate travel arrangements for sales team members and ensure seamless communication.

Represent the company at industry events and trade shows to promote brand visibility.

Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities and forecasts to stakeholders.

Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement within the sales department. Requirements - Extensive experience in sales leadership within the apparel or manufacturing industry.

Proven ability to manage and motivate diverse sales teams across multiple regions.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting industry relationships.

Expertise in sales strategy development and execution.

Ability to analyze sales data and translate insights into actionable plans.

Willingness to travel as needed to support sales activities and meet clients.

Proficiency in managing house accounts and ensuring exceptional client service.
