We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our team in Brookfield, Wisconsin. This role focuses on providing specialized tax preparation and planning services for high-net-worth individuals, with an emphasis on collaboration and efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional expertise in tax compliance, wealth management, and financial planning, while embracing technology to enhance client service.

Responsibilities:

Review and oversee the preparation of complex individual income tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Develop customized tax strategies using financial planning software to optimize client outcomes, including techniques like Roth conversions and charitable giving.

Collaborate closely with financial planners, wealth managers, and other tax professionals to deliver integrated tax planning and preparation services.

Educate clients and wealth managers on intricate tax matters, offering guidance and solutions tailored to their unique needs.

Stay updated on tax law changes and industry developments to maintain a high level of expertise.

Utilize advanced technology tools to streamline tax preparation and planning processes.

Participate in client meetings to address specific tax questions and provide strategic advice.

Focus exclusively on tax-related tasks, without any sales, marketing, or business development responsibilities.

Requirements - CPA, EA, or tax attorney certification is required.

At least 5 years of experience in individual income tax preparation, with a focus on high-net-worth clients.

Strong knowledge of wealth management and financial planning principles.

Certified Financial Planner or Personal Financial Specialist designation is preferred or willingness to obtain within two years.

Outstanding communication skills and the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly.

Proficiency in tax and financial planning software, including familiarity with CCH ProSystem fx and Holistiplan.

Series 65 license or equivalent must be obtained within 180 days.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
