THE POSITION

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's Driver Vehicle Services (DVS) Program Management Office is on the lookout for a committed and detail-oriented Business Analyst 2 to enhance our dynamic team. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role, you will be involved in complex analytical tasks focused on enhancing various functions within Driver Licensing and Control Systems, as well as Vehicle Titling and Registration applications. These systems play a crucial role in managing over 13 million registered vehicles in Pennsylvania and supporting more than 9 million Photo License holders, 71 Driver's License Centers, law enforcement agencies, inspection and emission stations, and various Department of Transportation partners. You will lead a team tasked with developing test scripts, documenting processes, and analyzing defects. Furthermore, you will coordinate testing resources and manage high-level administrative responsibilities, including project planning, creating test plans, gathering and documenting requirements, and communicating updates on project progress.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 75 hours bi-weekly
Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
May be required to work when a full-day and/or partial-day office closing is authorized. To include but not limited to early dismissals for inclement weather; the day before holidays; special holiday closings.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, after successful completion of training period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year as an Information Technology Trainee (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
One year as a Business Analyst 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
Five years of business process analysis experience; or
One year of business process analysis experience and a bachelor's degree; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
