Job Summary:
We're looking for a kindred spirit who will be inspired to create dynamic, strategic and effective leadership for the Club operations of Kindred Resort, a new, elevated luxury property located at the base of Keystone Resort in Colorado.

The Club Manager is a full-time, salaried leadership role reporting directly to the Club Director. This position oversees key clubhouse operations, including the locker room, banquet services, pool, facilities maintenance, and housekeeping. In the absence of the Club Director, the Club Manager serves as the acting manager on duty. The Club Manager is expected to be on the property 4-5 days per week to ensure operational excellence and member satisfaction.
A critical aspect of this role is cross-departmental collaboration. The Club Manager partners closely with teams such as Food & Beverage, valet, ski school, front desk, concierge, and engineering to deliver the elevated luxury experience our Members expect. This role plays a vital part in shaping The Kindred Club's vision of mountain hospitality in Summit County-blending adventure, community, and five-star service.

Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Club Director to establish operational standards across all club amenities, including the lounge, locker room, pool, fitness center, and ski valet areas
Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training club staff to deliver service excellence aligned with Kindred and Vail Resorts brand standards as needed
Support the setup of club systems, including POS and member communication platforms
Contribute to pre-opening marketing efforts, including content creation for newsletters, digital signage, and social media
Help prepare initial budgets, inventory systems, and reporting templates for ownership and advisory board use
Participate in planning and promotion of the inaugural calendar of member events and social programming
Establish cross-departmental relationships with Vail Resorts teams to ensure seamless integration across Front Desk, Concierge, Valet, F&B, Housekeeping, and Engineering.

Support execution of signature programming such as First Tracks, Après Ski, Wine & Cheese, Kids' Activities, and wellness events
Aid in member communications to promote engagement and community
Leadership & Team Development
Foster a culture of hospitality, teamwork, and proactive problem-solving
Continue training and development to uphold service excellence
Financial & Administrative Management
Assist in managing departmental budgets, cost controls, and inventory
Contribute to monthly reporting for ownership and advisory board meetings
Programming & Marketing Support
Partner with the Club Director to plan and execute a year-round calendar of social events
Collaborate on marketing initiatives to grow local awareness and drive member engagement
Support content creation aligned with brand tone and member interests
Seasonal Rhythm
Winter: Oversee Club operations locker service, après-ski events, and guest hospitality; execute winter programming and maintain facility excellence during peak season
Summer: Shift focus to member socials, wellness, and outdoor events; support resort integration through golf partnerships, and mountain recreation; oversee seasonal resets and member renewal outreach
Perform other duties as assigned to support the evolving needs of the club and its members
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years' management experience in luxury hospitality, private clubs, or resort operations (required)
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with high-end clientele (required)
Experience in facility oversight and leading operational teams (required)
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Resort Management, or equivalent professional experience (preferred)
Prior experience working in private club settings such as golf, ski, yacht, or social clubs (preferred)
Familiarity with Vail Resorts' service standards and club operating models (preferred)
Proficiency in POS systems and club management software (preferred)

The expected pay range is $58,461.98 - $65,000. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
