What will the work look like for me?
Our National Accounts team focuses on business with medium-to-large retail and restaurant brands while partnering with national sign companies for distribution and commissioning. Our sales efforts leverage our vast array of applications to best solve the prospects/customers challenges. We are driven to be the clear choice for any brand that wishes to generate a return on objective which may include increased revenue generation or brand engagement through digital display networks.
You will collaborate with our marketing, sales applications, production management and engineering teams in developing effective strategies and executing a comprehensive sales plan. You will actively seek out and leverage key partnerships to increase Indoor Digital Signage. Your consultative sales skills will assist you in educating and effectively managing client concerns and requirements, overcome obstacles, and building long-term relationships.
You should have the confidence to talk with management executives at major brands. You will focus on learning the details of the industry and take that knowledge and execute it towards business growth. Sales and Business Development
Identify, target, and close new national account opportunities across c-store, retail, QSR, hospitality, healthcare, financial services, corporate, and other enterprise verticals.
Develop and execute a national sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
Conduct discovery, needs analyses, and solution presentations to C-level executives, marketing leaders, IT teams, and procurement stakeholders.
Build positive relationships with national sign companies that serve these brands and engage with both direct and channel sales models as appropriate.
Manage complex enterprise sales cycles, including RFP responses, solution design coordination, pricing proposals, and contract negotiation.
Collaboration & Internal Alignment
Work closely with product, marketing, and operations teams to align offerings with customer needs.
Provide market insights and customer feedback to influence product development and strategy.
Participate in trade shows, industry events, and partner programs to grow brand presence and generate leads.

Where is this opportunity located?
This position is based in our Southeast region (Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, or Alabama).
Qualifications
To be considered for Sales Representative, we require the following:
Demonstrated sales experience selling to executive level influencers. At least five (5) years of national accounts field sales experience.
Bachelor's degree in business, economics, marketing, technical area, or a related field.
Communication skills including good verbal and written skills, ability to develop and present winning presentations of Daktronics products and services and negotiate contracts favorable to Daktronics.
Work schedule may include evenings and weekends for presentations, trade shows and meetings.
Computer skills to best utilize Sales Force, Microsoft Office, web navigation and internal electronic systems. Effectively exercise discretion and independent judgment.
Ability to travel by air and ground. Valid driver's license. Must be able to meet and maintain Daktronics Driving Eligibility Requirements. Motor vehicle records will be checked.
Ability to travel for at least four (4) continuous days approximately once per month. Ability to travel throughout North America (Canada/United States).
Fluent in English, written and verbal.

Desired Traits:
Demonstrated sales experience selling to executive level influencers. A minimum of five years of national accounts field sales experience.
Understands how senior managers make decisions. Ability to craft positive approaches that address senior manager objectives and can present professional proposals with ease and depth of preparation.
Demonstrate ability to learn technical product quickly or technical aptitude.

Negotiation Skills:
Experience selling product values and features. Must demonstrate ability to successfully negotiate price without being the lowest price supplier.
Understand basics of proposal & sales agreement language to negotiate/finalize agreements in conjunction with Daktronics Legal Group.
