Responsibilities
Ascension is actively seeking a creative and results-driven individual to fill the role of Sr. Marketing Specialist for Ministry Marketing for Ascension Texas, focusing on Pediatric Service Lines. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for implementing marketing campaigns and promotional activities to support pediatric specialities and pediatric hospital brand growth. This role works to execute tactics that drive patient volume and strengthen market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Development:
Create compelling and relevant content for various service lines, such as Pediatric Neurosciences, Neonatology, Cardiovascular and Orthopedics.
Develop engaging written and visual content that aligns with organizational goals and resonates with patients, families and the local community (including CRM, web / digital, social, SEM, event / in-hospital promotion, brochure, signage, flier and print content)
Campaign Planning and Execution:
Lead the planning and execution of targeted content marketing campaigns to promote service line specialties, hospitals and drive patient volume.
Assist in decks for socialization of strategy and campaigns with key stakeholders.
Utilize creative writing and design skills across various channels, including digital, traditional media, and community outreach.
Hospital Promotion:
Assist in roll out of campaigns that highlight hospital services and initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies with broader organizational initiatives.
Collaboration with Service Line Leaders:
Work closely with service line leaders, physicians, and clinical teams to understand key strengths, offerings, and market differentiators for each service line.
Align content efforts with service line goals and collaborate on promotional activities with a focus on local relevance.
Multichannel Marketing:
Implement multichannel content marketing approaches to reach target audiences through various platforms.
Utilize social media, events, email marketing, and advertising with an emphasis on impactful writing and design to promote service lines and the ministry locally.
Data-Driven Insights:
Utilize data analytics to understand content performance, market trends, and patient preferences.
Derive actionable insights from various reporting tools to optimize strategies and improve service line and ministry promotion.
Assist in development of marketing reports for various internal stakeholders.
Community Engagement:
Lead content-driven community engagement / marketing sponsorship events and initiatives to build positive relationships with local communities and enhance the hospital's and ministry's presence.
Collaborate with community organizations and partners to support health and wellness initiatives with locally tailored content.
Requirements
Education:
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specificexperience required. 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
Additional Preferences
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Design, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in content marketing and writing are a plus.
Professional Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in marketing, with a focus on healthcare or hospital marketing.
Demonstrated experience in writing and storytelling skills.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong strategic thinking, project management, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on impactful writing and design.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
Adaptability and Flexibility:
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and evolving content marketing strategies.
Ability to flex work hours when needed to support events outside of a typical daytime and weekday schedule.
Ability to work in an office or hospital setting several days each week, as needed, to support content development, collaboration with clinical teams, events and in-person meetings.
