Description We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Hamlet, North Carolina. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting and manufacturing to contribute to a dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting business operations.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review journal entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts to maintain accurate financial records.

Collaborate with manufacturing teams to analyze financial data and support operational decision-making.

Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations for financial reporting and system management.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Conduct audits and internal reviews to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.

Support budgeting and forecasting activities to align financial strategies with organizational goals.

Provide detailed financial analysis and reporting to stakeholders to guide business decisions.

Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. Requirements - Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in preparing and reviewing journal entries and managing general ledger accounts.

Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is preferred, but not required.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial data.

Solid understanding of accounting principles and regulations.

Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines effectively.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
