Overview
Our Melbourne team is expanding, and we're on the lookout for a Senior Account Manager who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment and knows how to lead client relationships with confidence, clarity and genuine care. This role sits at the heart of our client service function - you'll be the day-to-day lead across key accounts, partnering with senior leaders to deliver seamless end-to-end activations across shopper, experiential and retail channels.
You'll bring a proactive mindset, a collaborative spirit and a knack for turning complex briefs into beautifully executed work that exceeds expectations. If you love building strong client partnerships, keeping projects moving and lifting the bar on delivery, you'll feel right at home.
Role Responsibilities
Interpreting client briefs and leading internal briefings with cross-functional teams to ensure clarity and alignment from the outset
Owning proposal development including timelines, cost scoping, mood boards, copy crafting and proofing
Driving end-to-end campaign execution across shopper and retail activations, ensuring delivery against scope, budget and quality benchmarks
Building strong client relationships through timely communication, proactive problem-solving and consistent delivery excellence
Leading client WIPs including preparation of documentation and hosting meetings
Writing clear and actionable studio briefs that translate client feedback into accurate creative direction
Proofing creative outputs to ensure accuracy, quality and alignment to brief
Developing and presenting campaign reporting in partnership with our Data Analyst, crafting compelling performance narratives
Managing all project finances including estimates, monthly financial processes and budget reconciliations
Working with suppliers to secure competitive quotes and maintain strong commercial outcomes
Desired Experience & Attributes
Minimum of 5 years of commerce experience at a marketing or advertising agency inclusive of shopper, experiential, ecommerce and media.
Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and a 'self-starter' mentality with a deep sense of accountability, creativity, resourcefulness, and desire to collaborate and step in for the good of the team and agency
Collaborative approach to teamwork and problem-solving
Sound decision-making skills based in agency, client, and industry knowledge
Passion for business and dissatisfaction with the status quo - always thinking of ways to improve and grow
