Our client, a leading manufacturer in the rigid film industry, is seeking a Maintenance Electrical Technician (Licensed Electrician) to join their team. As a Maintenance Electrical Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent technical expertise, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Electrical Technician (Licensed Electrician)

Location: Newcastle, DE

Pay Range: $30/hour - $38+/hour

Shift: Swing Shift (must be willing to work on-call)

What's the Job?

Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues on production and packaging equipment.

Perform preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.

Diagnose problems using observation, precision measuring, and testing instruments.

Tear down and rebuild machinery and components-not just wiring tasks.

Maintain inventory of parts and supplies; prepare reports and documentation.

What's Needed?

MUST be a Licensed Electrician (Master License highly desired but not required).

Ideally licensed in Delaware or able to transfer and obtain Delaware license within 3-6 months of hire.

Industrial manufacturing experience required.

Ability to tear down and rebuild components, parts, and machinery-not just wire pulling.

Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing production equipment.
