Role Definition
Schedules work for production and coordinate the necessary inventory to support the work scheduled.
Responsibilities
Analyzing and troubleshooting planned production scheduling problems.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to incorporate customer and business requirements. Releasing work orders to the shop.
Ordering required inventory.

Names several forecasting indexes or measurements.
Production Scheduling and Control: Knowledge of procedures and tools for scheduling and controlling production runs; ability to utilize knowledge of daily manufacturing processes to assure quality deliverables.
Level Working Knowledge:
Follows existing procedures to set up, stage and ensure proper job completion.
Identifies demand patterns; implements demand management processes.
Coordinates appropriate production documentation and authorizations.
Confirms production requirements and lead times beforehand; assists in setting up production jobs.
Diagnoses and addresses production problems using established guidelines.

Summary Pay Range:
$61,294.00 - $91,940.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
