Original series premiere exclusively on Prime Video, which is available in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. Amazon MGM Studios also produces and acquires Original movies for theatrical release and exclusively for Prime Video.
We are hiring for an A/V Finishing Producer to join our Amazon MGM Studios core creative marketing team. The individual in this position will produce the best-in-class A/V finishing and QC of A/V marketing materials including theatrical, broadcast and digital content for Amazon MGM Studios original films and series to elevate the final product to the highest standards. They will additionally route and track the required pre-lock clearances relevant to the asset @type and placement. This content includes materials such as teasers, trailers, and TV/digital spots and audio assets. This role handles a high volume of deliverables, requiring a subject matter technical expert in A/V technical specs and marketing A/V finishing pipelines (mix/color/conform/resizing and versioning), experience with motion graphics and visual effects (VFX), a clear communicator and advocate for quality creative finishing, and partner to creatives. The A/V Finishing Producer will report to the Lead of A/V Finishing within the Amazon MGM Studios Marketing team.
Key job responsibilities
Vendor Management: Own the vendor management process to supervise the finishing of A/V materials throughout the online, mix, approvals, versioning and QC process and execute internal asset delivery to domestic and international partners.
Clearance Routing: Responsible for routing & tracking clearances of pre-lock A/V materials through final delivered asset.
Post Production Pipeline Strategy: Establish the finishing pipeline in conjunction with the show post team and VFX team for marketing materials. Connect all teams and manage stakeholder communications.
Post Production Timeline Management: Provide timeline inputs to cross functional leads. Regularly flag milestones to the internal team and proactively avoid scheduling conflicts. Build and maintain production asset tracker.
Session Booking: Book mix and DI sessions, and coordinate creative lead and filmmaker/executive producer attendance when required. Facilitate creative approvals of masters.
Content Security: Uphold content security. Facilitate vendor security onboarding and tooling training. Manage creation and upkeep of vendor asset management file sharing system for titles and provide permissions to internal and external teams.
Asset Tracking: Track all assets through the finishing process ensuring prompt receipt and distribution of crucial elements including prep and graphics.
QC: Oversee QC of branding, encodes, social resizes and iterations of all technical specs.
Budget Management: Own the A/V finishing portion of the campaign budget in conjunction with campaign managers. Manage billing negotiations, review and open POs, track invoices and vendor relationships.
Localization Partner: Act as a bridge to the localization team to set expectations around timeline and provide elements for accelerated localization.
Asset Curation: Oversee the receipt and distribution of Amazon Original Movies or Amazon Original Series A/V assets from internal production to external vendors working on marketing campaigns.
A day in the life
As part of the Amazon MGM Studios core creative marketing team, this role partners with the key stakeholders involved in crafting the traditional A/V materials on a marketing campaign for series and film projects such as trailers, tv spots, audio streaming assets, etc. They partner with show post production and internal post executives to track episode and VFX readiness for marketing timelines to kick off asset development and account for localization needs by partnering with localization. When offline assets are ready for routing to clearance partners such as music licensing, legal, and external clearances, this role executes and tracks the feedback for the offline assets that pertain to finishing. In finishing, they plan for the best possible path to mix/color/version/QC and deliver the asset suite on time and on budget and own delivery of the assets to our internal partners for external campaigns.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of creative services experience
5+ years of entertainment, brand or production entity experience
Experience and understanding of the workflow within a marketing, production, or creative department or company
Experience working at or with a creative or advertising agency, network, streaming service or studio
Experience working with stakeholders
Experience with asset management, design workflows, or partnering with creative teams
Experience with image production, transfer protocols, digital asset management and publishing content for web
Experience with digital and broadcast TV finishing processes, including online, mix and QC
Technical knowledge of specs, formats and placements as well as audio, picture, graphics, editorial, conform, and VFX pipelines
Experience managing post production timelines and budgets
Knowledge of A/V formats and the fundamentals of asset management, in theater deliverables (DCP), servicing, and trafficking
Experience managing and delivering large volume of video assets to external partners
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on or with large-scale, global creative campaigns

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
