Job Summary

Entry level Structures Stress Analysis Engineer for developing and certifying new aircraft and related product designs at Cirrus Aircraft.

Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions

Generates structural analysis of aircraft primary and secondary structures that includes detail part sizing, and strength assessment of primary and secondary structure and systems installations.

Assists in generating stress analysis and test documentation generation. Includes test reports, design reports, test plans and test reports.

Complete project assignments and assist in design outcomes.

Minimum 4-year Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering

Strong working knowledge of physics

Basic knowledge of Statics and Mechanics of Materials used for structural design.

Basic knowledge of Finite Element Analysis

Basic knowledge of composite structure and fabrication methods

Basic understanding of methods for problem solving and analysis

Ability to demonstrate basic communication skills (written and verbal). Must be able to demonstrate ability to read, write and speak the English language.
