About Madinat Jumeirah

About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head Guest Relations Executive to join Shimmers - Jumeirah Mina Al Salam

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

Identify and meet customer needs promptly and accurately , delivering consistently exceptional service while maintaining professionalism and strong personal presentation.

Address customer dissatisfaction quickly and effectively , following MJ customer feedback and complaint procedures to ensure positive guest outcomes.

Support colleagues and contribute to teamwork , assisting as needed to achieve daily operational goals and maintain smooth service flow.

Manage the hostess desk/door with a warm, prompt welcome , while efficiently handling dining reservations and special requests in line with Restaurant Reservations SOPs.

Stay well-informed on hotel events, city highlights, menu specials, and daily updates , using notice boards and briefing sheets to provide accurate and helpful information to guests.

Contribute to marketing initiatives and uphold outlet standards , ensuring menus and materials remain clean and presentable while helping drive increased visibility and market share.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

One or two years of experience in the same role with a strong F&B background in a 5-star luxury property or a standalone/branded restaurant.

Proficient in English and a second language (Russian or European languages are desirable).

Strong knowledge of Sevenrooms.

Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.
