What You'll Do

Design Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEP) systems for regional projects.

Use AutoCAD and coordinate with CAD operators for accurate, timely designs.

Manage small and medium-sized projects; assist on large, complex projects under principal supervision.

Prepare permits, proposals, RFIs, load calculations, wiring sizes, construction documents, and reports.

Apply knowledge of NEC, building codes, and standards throughout design phases.

What We're Looking For

Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.

Experience: MEP design project experience.

Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Soft Skills: Strong communication and organizational abilities.

Preferred: EIT or P.E. certification (not required), experience with large-scale projects (schools, hospitals, VA).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middletown, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $40.86/hr.
