Job Title: Engineering Associate

Location: South Plainfield, NJ

Type: Contract-to-Hire

Work Model: Onsite

Pay Range: $25-$27/hour

ENGINEERING ASSOCIATE

SUMMARY:

This position focuses on process optimization, maintaining production quality, and supporting operator training in a cleanroom/fab environment. Candidates with experience in photolithography, etching, and wafer cleaning are strongly encouraged to apply.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop, optimize, and monitor semiconductor fabrication processes, with emphasis on photolithography, dry/wet etch, and wafer cleaning.

Utilize SEM, EDS, ellipsometer, and profilometer for process evaluation and troubleshooting.

Define, document, and maintain clear work instructions for operators and engineering teams.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address process issues and implement improvements.

Provide training and technical support to operators, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and contribute to continuous process improvement initiative

QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's or Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or Mechanical Engineering required.

Cleanroom experience required (academic or professional

Hands-on experience or exposure to photolithography, etch, or wafer cleaning preferred.

Proficiency with SEM, EDS, ellipsometer, or profilometer preferred

Strong communication, teamwork, and operator training skills.

Mandarin speaking is strongly preferred.
