Job Description

The Front Desk Receptionist plays a crucial role in providing excellent patient care and ensuring smooth clinic operations. They are responsible for performing a variety of clerical and administrative duties to support front desk operations at Texas Oncology's service centers. Here are some key responsibilities:

Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.

Schedule appointments and manage patient flow at the front desk.

Answer phone calls, route inquiries, and provide information to patients and staff.

Maintain accurate patient records and update necessary information.

Assist with billing and insurance-related inquiries.

Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to ensure efficient patient care.

Coordinate with other departments within the clinic.

Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.

Handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Skills and Requirements

At least 2-3 years of excellent customer service experience

Experience working as a front desk, medical receptionist, medical office

Excellent communication - looking for someone who is outgoing and friendly

Interest in working in the healthcare industry

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, high pressure settings

Muti-tasker and can stay on track

Compassionate and empathetic

Can pass federal and drug background check

Open to going full time - Proficient in Microsoft TEAMS

Previous experience in a medical office

Bilingual in Spanish
