Duties Description The duties of this position within the Business Innovation Bureau will include but are not limited to the following:- Lead and coordinate business analysis activities. - Manage the relationship with project stakeholders to identify, model and document business process and data requirements.- Translate technical complexities to project stakeholders, ensuring thorough understanding of design decisions.- Work closely with the Project Team to ensure analysis activities are properly estimated and included in the project schedule.- Serve as an external coordinator between NYS Parks, NYS Information Technology Services (ITS), and external vendors.- Serve as an internal liaison between the various bureaus depending on vendor solutions.- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for a subset of connectivity projects and enhancements.- Assist facilities with implementation of vendor software updates, hardware updates, and user training, including prioritization of implementation and establishing and mitigating timelines.- Troubleshoot application errors and hardware issues impacting vendor solutions, including research and information gathering, documentation, testing, implementing resolutions and analyzing outcomes.- Work with the Project Team to ensure requirements' gathering stays within scope or enact a change request if the scope needs to be revisited.- Schedule, develop, perform, and analyze results from testing on any projects in progress.- Develop training and user support materials in support projects.- Provide project support as needed.- Perform other duties as assigned.
