As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Driver in Tampa, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol an industrial and manufacturing location, helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a strong, visible presence. You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with individuals on site, and act as a reliable representative of our caring and innovative team. This position requires a valid driver's license in the state where you are applying, as it is a driving post.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter.

Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.

Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.

Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergencies and/or drills, following established protocols for the location.

Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during patrols.

Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors while representing Allied Universal at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
