Position Overview:
Account Payable Tech for bookkeeping operations support focusing on Account Payable (AP).
Education/Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent. Basic bookkeeping knowledge required. Computer literacy, good oral and written communication skills. Ability to perform under specific deadlines. Experience with Excel and MS-word. Willingness to learn specific accounting software (Acumatica).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable-Responsible for all aspects of accounts payable including: collecting invoices, coding to appropriate accounts, data entry, processing of AP checks, mailing of AP checks. maintains appropriate records. Make a deposit of cash receipts on a regular basis. Some overlap with AR Tech as needed.
Payroll-Utilize Paycom software to manage payroll activities as necessary. Generate payroll reports including monthly, quarterly and annual. Generate ancillary reports based on payroll repots, e.g. FICA expense, insurance and other benefits allocation spreads. Payroll tax computations, forms, and deposits. Call in the electronic funds transfer for both Federal and State tax deposits related to payroll.
Administrative Support-May include, as needed, support activities for Executive Director and/or Director of Operations including, but not limited to, public relations, administrative projects, and miscellaneous management activities. organization skills and filing hard copy and/or electronic storage and retrieval.
As Shared with Administrative Assistant and AR Tech-Telephone to provide courteous, professional coverage while directing calls to the proper individual. Visitor to show prompt, courteous, professional attention while directing visitors to proper personnel; receive information, packages, etc.
Other-Ensuring communication of policy changes as needed. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
