As Supply Chain Manager, you will manage all aspects of supply chain and its future growth for Portage, WI manufacturing facility, including all purchasing, inventory control, & planning functions as well as warehouse operations.
Will represent the site to work closely with Global Supply Chain team and deploy standards in SIOP process as well system and local supply chain activities and create standards for warehouse operation, intercompany and supplier scheduling standards.
Key Accountabilities:
Manages capacity planning, materials planning, warehouse scheduling, inventory levels and distribution to meet or exceed the commitments to the customers.
On time delivery to promise and customer request dates, lead times, sales, inventory turns, and the dollar value of inventory are key measures for this position.
Determines capacity, material constraints, warehouse constraints, and working with the site teams on solutions will be a key function of this position.
Timely/efficient arrival of raw materials and components are key to meeting the on-time delivery goals, as well as, working with operations to ensure schedule adherence to the plan.
Manages production and receiving/shipping schedules to successfully balance production/warehouse load vs capacity.
Leads purchasing: Buying, negotiating, invoice reconciliation, accounts payable
Coaches and develops the purchasing, planning, and warehouse teams to continue optimizing the process in pursuit of efficiency through data-based assessments which includes staffing, material handling equipment's, space utilization, andrecommendations for efficient movement and storage of materials.
Strict adherence and a commitment carrying out the Corporate and/or local policies, rules, and regulations in these areas is required.
Responsible for the safe and cost effective manufacture of products, which meet or exceed customer quality and delivery requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or related business degree
5+ years Supply Chain management experience in manufacturing, production environment; and within regulated industry.
2+ years Purchasing experience
Experience in effectively utilizing MRP (computerized manufacturing systems), inventory control; Required.
Experience in purchasing of materials and services, materials planning, production scheduling, inventory, and sales & operations planning
Strong computer skills required including Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PPT, and Project; shown data gathering & data analysis skills
Knowledge of materials and inventory control practices, warehouse scheduling, and engineering in a manufacturing environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related field
