Our company opened in February 2002 in response to a Community Needs Assessment that identified a need for medical service for the underserved members of our community. Works under direction from the VP of Facilities; Performs maintenance work on all facility systems and responds to customer needs as required.

Major responsibilities:

Assist with routine preventive maintenance on building systems.

Support upkeep of facilities in compliance with local, state, and national building codes.

Monitor building equipment and report or help troubleshoot basic issues, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Learn and navigate automated building or maintenance software systems.

Respond to basic equipment failures and work with senior staff to restore equipment to working condition.

Work from verbal instructions, simple sketches, and basic diagrams.

Help maintain a safe and clean environment for staff, patients, and visitors.

Participate in on-call rotation as needed (with appropriate guidance).

Interact professionally with staff, vendors, and the general public.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes hectic environment.

Comfort using smartphones, tablets, and basic computerized maintenance systems.

Strong communication skills and ability to document work and follow procedures.

Willingness to learn to read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, or instructions.

Mechanical aptitude and interest in developing skills to troubleshoot building issues.

Ability to safely use basic hand tools and power tools.

0-2 years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or related trades (internship or vocational training welcomed)

No professional license required; willingness to learn HVAC, electrical, or plumbing basics encouraged.
