Bilingual Medical Secretary

As a Bilingual Medical Secretary, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. You'll play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience, from scheduling appointments to verifying insurance and supporting clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities

Answer and route incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner

Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments

Greet patients and assist with check-in/check-out procedures

Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations

Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical system

Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure timely patient flow

Handle patient inquiries and resolve issues with empathy and efficiency

Qualifications

1+ year of recent medical office administrative experience required.

Must be Bilingual (English & Spanish)

Qualified applicants must have the ability to communicate effectively with facility staff. A successful candidate will be a self-directed multitasker.

Prior EHR experience (Athena or EPIC) preferred.

Details:

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 4:30pm or 8:30am - 5:00pm (40 hours per week)

Pay Cycle - Weekly | Medical, Dental & Vision Benefits offered.

This role is an in-office position and requires employees to work onsite 5 days a week.

Main office location is in Wallingford, CT but employees will be required to cover in our Cheshire, CT location as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
