Job Description

AECOM is seeking an experienced and detail-driven Senior Electrical Inspector to join our team in Orlando, FL. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the safety, reliability, and compliance of electrical systems across major projects. You'll contribute your technical expertise to inspections, plan reviews, and performance testing, helping to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety while supporting the successful delivery of complex infrastructure initiatives.

This person will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Conduct inspections of electrical installations and equipment to ensure they comply with local, state, and national electrical codes

Review electrical plans and specifications for new equipment or system installations to ensure they meet safety requirements

Identify and document instances of electrical code violations and advise on the necessary corrective actions

Perform routine inspections to check the condition and integrity of electrical systems and equipment

Conduct tests using specialized equipment to measure the performance and safety of electrical systems

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

BA/BS + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Requirements

5+ years electrical experience

Previous aviation electrical experience

Previous automated people mover experience

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $115000 to $125000.
