Job Title: Electrical Foreman

Job Description

As an Electrical Mechanic, you will perform tasks such as bending pipe with a hand bender (including 90's, 45's, offsets, and saddles), troubleshooting panels, pulling wire and BX cable, and reading blueprints and schematics. You will work in various locations throughout Long Island and NYC, focusing on commercial buildings such as office spaces, health and wellness centers, and recreation centers. Your main responsibilities will include pulling wire, running pipe, hanging pipe, and making necessary bends as per the blueprints or to adjust for obstructions.

Responsibilities

Electrical installation tasks on commercial job sites.

Work independently or with a helper.

Ensure accuracy in work by reading and interpreting prints.

Troubleshoot any electrical problems encountered.

Bend commercial pipe as required by the project.

Essential Skills

Experience as an Electrician, Lead Electrician, Electrical Foreman, Journeyman Electrician, or Jr. Electrician.

Ability to bend pipe and work with BX cable.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.

Troubleshooting skills for smoke alarms, panels, and conduits.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

OSHA 30 certification.

SST 10 certification (preferred)

Possession of PPE and electrical hand tools.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmingdale, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
