We are looking for a skilled Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will support attorneys by managing case files, preparing legal documents, and conducting research in family law matters. This position requires excellent organizational abilities and a commitment to providing compassionate assistance to clients.

Responsibilities: - Draft and review a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and settlement agreements. - Organize and manage case files, ensuring accurate recordkeeping for all family law cases. - Conduct detailed legal research and analysis on statutes, case law, and applicable court rules. - File legal documents with the court, adhering to local procedural requirements. - Coordinate schedules for court hearings, depositions, and client meetings, while maintaining effective communication with clients and witnesses. - Assist attorneys with trial preparation by preparing exhibits and organizing discovery materials. - Provide empathetic and detail-oriented support to clients dealing with sensitive family law issues. - Collaborate with attorneys and other team members to ensure smooth case management and workflow. - Monitor deadlines and ensure timely completion of all assignments.

The pay range for this position is $27 to $33. Benefits available to contract/contract professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. Requirements - Proven experience in family law, with a strong understanding of discovery processes.

Proficiency in drafting legal documents and conducting legal research.

Familiarity with court filing procedures and local rules.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Experience using legal case management software is a plus.
