The Senior Manager, Membership Strategy & Innovation plays a pivotal role in advancing Sam's Club's long-term membership strategy. You will place the member at the heart of decision-making, partner closely with teams across the business, and use insights to define opportunities, frame ambiguous challenges, guide strategic priorities, and craft leadership-ready narratives that influence decisions shaping the future of our membership program.

What you'll do...
As a Senior Manager on the Membership Strategy & Innovation team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our membership. You'll be a passionate advocate for our members, using your analytical and storytelling skills to uncover insights and drive strategy forward.
Uncover growth opportunities by analyzing member data, behavioral patterns, and market shifts - translating insights into actionable strategies that influence membership performance.
Develop business cases and financial models to evaluate strategic concepts and prioritize investment decisions, ensuring recommendations are grounded in strong analytical rigor.
Bring structure to ambiguity , using strategic frameworks and problem-solving methods to clarify complex challenges and guide teams toward aligned solutions.
Build measurement frameworks and reporting mechanisms that track membership initiatives, ensuring KPIs, benchmarks, and insights drive continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
Lead cross-functional collaboration , partnering with Data & Analytics, Finance, Marketing, Product, and other teams to gather insights, align onobjectives, and execute strategic initiatives with clarity and precision.
Craft compelling deliverables , preparing clear, concise, and visually polished presentations and narratives for leadership that distill complex analyses into actionable recommendations.
Champion member-centricity by embedding the member perspective in strategic planning and ensuring that initiatives deliver meaningful value and experience improvements.
Uphold meticulous attention to detail , ensuring analytical outputs, deliverables, and strategic recommendations areaccurate, complete, and thoughtfully constructed.
What you'll bring...
5-7+ years of experience in corporate strategy, business analysis, consulting, ora relatedanalytical field.
Strong financial, analytical, and modeling skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and extract meaningful insights that inform strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
Storytelling skills,including experience building leadership-ready slide decksand white papers,thathighlight implications, trade-offs, and recommended next steps.
Curiosity and a passion for understanding member behavior and improvingthe memberexperience.
Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to build strong, trusting relationships across teams.
A proactive, self-starter mindset with comfort navigating ambiguity and solving complex problems.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).
