Summary of Responsibilities:
The marketing programs specialist is responsible for driving the success of national marketing programs through strategic implementation and operations excellence. This role involves analyzing market trends, technology advancements, and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency. By leveraging data insights and understanding client objectives, this position enhances existing programs and contributes to superior marketing solutions that distinguish Avenue5 in the multifamily industry.
Primary Responsibilities and Objectives:
· Own the operations of existing and newly added marketing programs, including the onboarding and offboarding of properties, maintenance of supplier partnerships, and property associate support
· Implement Avenue5's marketing strategies while keeping the organization's goals and objectives in mind
· Field support questions and general inquiries from property associates for marketing platforms
· Support training efforts in parallel with our internal career development team and marketing suppliers
· Own existing reporting for national marketing programs on a monthly, quarterly, and as-needed basis
· Partner with regional marketing managers and field marketing specialists to ensure the use and adoption of national marketing programs, both on-site and operationally at all properties
· Help create internal and external marketing campaigns by utilizing both digital and traditional marketing methods/channels (e.g., brochures, flyers, postcards, direct mail, billboards, email, landing pages, microsites, social media, and radio)
· Enhance existing programs and create actionable recommendations by identifying areas of opportunity and implementing efficiencies through analysis of platform and customer insights
· Understand the market landscape, including technology trends, competitor strengths, and weaknesses as they relate to property management
· Understand the client and company business objectives to ensure maximization of property marketing and performance
· Maintain a working knowledge of all the features, functionality, and benefits that make Avenue5's products and services superior in the multi-family property management space
· Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or business is required
· One year of experience in direct real estate multi-family marketing within the property management industry is preferred
· Two or three years of marketing generalist experience, including social media, reputation management, and website presence, is required. Agency experience is preferred.
· Experience in Yardi Suite of products, RealPage, or other equivalent systems is preferred
· Intermediate-level knowledge of project management software, such as Wrike is preferred
· Participation in industry groups is a plus
· Experience in Google Drive, Google Docs, Google+, Google Analytics and Google AdWords is preferred
Skills and Requirements:
· Entrepreneurial mindset and go-getter attitude with proven ability to work independently as well as in a team setting and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Exceptional project management skills are required (PMP certification is a plus)
· Strong understanding of property management industry trends, issues, and emerging technology
· Intermediate to advanced level knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (including Excel functions)
· Exceptional conceptual and creative thinking skills, as well as a solid knowledge of typography, color theory, design, and layout principles, with a strong aesthetic sense
· Ability to create a climate in which associates want to do their best by acting in a shared vision with associates while receiving coaching and development
· Ability to maintain a positive demeanor, voracious appetite to learn new things, and excellent professional judgement
· Required to complete and successfully pass the Avenue5 Fair Housing and Preventing Discrimination and Harassment training and other courses if assigned
Scheduling:
· Required to maintain a regular schedule, which may also require working outside of the regular schedule, weekends, and non-traditional holidays
· Required to be in the office two days per week
Environment:
· Exposure to an environment typically found in an office building
