The State of New Hampshire, Lottery Commission has a full-time vacancy for Administrative Assistant II.
Summary:
To develop, monitor and oversee administrative and office management procedures, to include front end and customer service functions, daily mail processing duties, and office equipment and functions, and to provide support to internal staff performing these duties.
To identify, interpret, and respond to legislation and directives from the Governor and Executive branch and to disseminate this data to directors and senior management.
Maintains a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Lottery Commission, lottery and gaming activities, industry rules and regulations, stakeholders, and vendors across multiple platforms.

Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.

Education/Experience: Equivalent combination of 4 years of education and experience after completion of high school.
Experience must be business administration, public administration, accounting, office management, fiscal management, or related field.
License/Certification: Valid driver's license or access to transportation

Responsibilities:
Monitors, investigates, and resolves problems and complaints.
Researches, composes, and maintains knowledge base of products, services, and policies to guide employee responses to inquiries and issues.
Coordinates office management Develops strategies, accountabilities, and standards for customer service across traditional, internet (iLottery), and mobile app products.
Serves as subject matter expert for iLottery products, providing customer account and technical support, to include compiling and making recommendations for user interface enhancements to the platform for an improved player experience.
Sets agendas for NH Lottery and Tri-State Lotto commissions, manages public notices and public hearings, and hosts meetings in person and via teleconference; coordinates and assembles meeting materials for commissioners and committee chairs; and transcribes minutes and maintains all meeting records.
Assists hearing examiner for Licensing and Compliance Division with findings and correspondence.
Supports Executive Director in coordinating agendas and locations for monthly inter-agency meetings.
Analyzes and compiles legislative reports and activities relevant to the agency and its stakeholders and distributes information to senior management; updates and manages legislative service requests; and tracks State administrative policies in support of the Executive Director and Chief Officers.
Serves as contracting officer for the agency, manages compliance requirements and assembles and/or composes Governor and Executive Council requests; and collaborates with Department of Administrative Services Business Supervisor over those and Fiscal Committee submissions.
Designs, modifies, and recommends changes to agency forms based on periodic review of State procedure manuals.
Assists CFO and senior management in submission of quarterly compensation reports, funds transfer requests, and annual audit reporting to the Fiscal Committee.
Creates monthly agency newsletter featuring original content, legislative updates, events calendar, and descriptions of products and initiatives.
Leads outreach strategies to New Hampshire municipalities regarding election requirements of Keno and sports book retail locations.
Communicates directly and respectfully with civic leaders to inform and educate them of the related statutes; schedules attendance of senior management to public hearings; and tracks and reports election outcomes to staff.
Administers the allocation of agencys telecommunications resources and manages interagency service requests; oversees office equipment leases, contracts, and service.
Serves as a member of the agency facilities oversight committee as applies to those resources.
