Walmart is looking for a Distinguished Technical Product Manager to shape the future of our global Payments Platform-powering frictionless, secure, and intelligent transactions across Walmart U.S., Sam's Club, eCommerce, and agentic commerce experiences. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and driving initiatives for a global platform that moves billions of dollars every day. What you'll do...
Payments Platform Strategy
Define the multi-year roadmap for Walmart's unified omni-channel payments platform.
Drive modernization of core services-authorization, settlement, reconciliation, routing, andpaymentacceptance.
Build resilient, scalable systems that support peak retail volumes globally.
Payment Acceptance & Integrations
Launch and optimize payment methods across processors, acquirers, and networks (card, ACH/Pay by Bank, wallets,restrictedtenderssuch as FSA/HSA, SNAP).
Lead omni-channel tender parity for online + in-store checkout experiences.
Improve approval rates, routing efficiency, and cost-to-serve.
AI & Agentic Commerce
Partner with ML teams to deliver intelligent capabilities: routing optimization, smart deferred auth, payment risk scoring, fee optimization, and chargeback prediction.
Develop agentic workflows that autonomously detect outages, adjust routing, and remediate issues in real time.
Platform Thinking & Architecture
Define extensible APIs, schemas, and standards across the transaction lifecycle.
Build foundational capabilities that powerenterprise use cases internally and externally for customers, members, and associates.
Leadplatform transformation and adoption ofunifiedschemas and data models (cloud bin service, unified settlement and reconciliation)
Cross-Functional Leadership
Partner with engineering, fraud, finance, accounting, compliance,partner teams, treasury, and external paymentproviders, networks, wallet providers.
Represent the payments platform in executive, architecture, and strategic planning forums.
Translate complexand ambiguous asksinto clear, actionable productrequirements and drive through completion. Champion voice of customer and continuous improvement mindset.
What you'll bring...
10+ years in Payments Product Management -with experience supporting both eCommerce and in-store payment acceptance.
Proven track record integrating and scaling multiple payment processors, networks, and wallets .
Deep knowledge of dual/single message processing, declines, response codes, tokenization, routing, clearing & settlement, and disputes .
Strong technical fluency working with distributed systems, APIs, event-driven architectures, and platform modernization.
Experience delivering AI/ML-driven capabilities into production workflows.
Executive communication skills with the ability to influence across very large organizations.
A passion for building platforms that are scalable, intelligent, resilient, and customer-centric.

The annual salary range for this position is $169,000.00 - $338,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
