Overall Job Summary
This position plays a key role in driving efficiency, productivity, and decision-making across Store Operations through the use of data analytics, automation, and smart technology. This position focuses on delivering clear, actionable insights through dashboards, predictive analysis, and automated reporting that support Store Operations Leadership and field execution.
The Analyst partners with cross-functional teams-including Finance, IT, Supply Chain, and Merchandising-to ensure store operations are informed by accurate data and advanced analytics. This position also supports the implementation of use cases, automation tools, and analytics frameworks to improve business outcomes and operational performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)
Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and analytics tools for Store Operations Leadership, providing real-time visibility into performance metrics, KPIs, and field productivity.
Support smart technology driven initiatives such as predictive modeling, demand forecasting, labor optimization, and task automation to improve store operations efficiency.
Collaborate with enterprise data teams to ensure proper data integration, accuracy, and governance in smart technology and analytics platforms.
Compile, analyze, and report on key operational metrics weekly, monthly, and quarterly, ensuring data integrity and relevance to Store Operations goals.
Streamline and automate recurring reporting processes using SQL, Python, Power BI, and similar tools.
Identify trends, anomalies, and insights to guide operational decisions and improve performance.
Partner with Store Administration, Loss Prevention, Direct Sales, Store Productivity, and Real Estate teams to ensure analytics deliver actionable insights aligned with business needs.
Communicate complex data findings through clear, concise storytelling tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Participate in change management efforts supporting adoption of tools and analytics dashboards across Store Operations.
Assist in the implementation of new automation projects, from data collection through execution and performance tracking.
Support process improvement initiatives that leverage data to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making speed.
Maintain documentation for analytics models, reports, and data pipelines to ensure knowledge continuity and compliance with data governance standards.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 2-4 years of experience in data analytics or operations intelligence
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, or a related field. Master's in Business Administration, Analytics, or Technology Management preferred. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to interact with business leaders as well as to effectively manage team members.
Knowledge of emerging technologies (RPA, GenAI, digital twins, prescriptive analytics).
Executive storytelling and influence skills - ability to align non-technical leaders around digital initiatives.
Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts (predictive modeling, NLP, automation frameworks).
Ability to work independently.
Ability to manipulate data to drive and expedite project analyses and completion.
Ability to develop and enforce policies and procedures.Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Strong understanding of the financial aspects of the business and key operational metrics.
