Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position

The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company's regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND .

Your Responsibilities

As an Electrical Engineering Part-Time Student for John Deere Turf Care , located in Fuquay Varina, NC, you will:

Be involved with the design, integration, and verification of vehicle electrical systems for commercial mowing and golf/turf vehicles.

They will have the opportunity to design/assemble mule vehicle electrical systems, perform vehicle diagnostics, and support verification testing

What Skills You Need

Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering or other related area

Have an electrical aptitude with basic knowledge of circuit analysis and experience with test and measurement equipment.

Have outstanding communication, organization, and time management skills.

Have completed courses related to electronic hardware and firmware, electrical systems, and power electronics.

Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university

Graduation date of May 2027 or later.

Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.

Available to work 12-20 hours/weekly during the academic year.

Available to work up to 40 hours/weekly during the summer semester

Must be able to work on site during scheduled workdays. Remote project work opportunities may arise on a case-by-case basis.
