PLANNER/ ESTIMATOR- OPERATIONS AND OUTREACH
This position will assist the Facility Program within the Office of Wildlife in maintenance and construction of buildings and other land improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
Four years of experience in the building construction trade or in building construction; OR
A bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, industrial arts, or a construction field plus one year of experience in the building construction trade or in building construction.

Job Duties and Other Information
JOB DUTIES
This position will be responsible for the use of CAD to describe construction/renovation needs and provide cost estimates.
This position will create and manage construction documents through the Title 38 process.
This position will be responsible for monitoring projects to ensure completion in accordance with State rules/ regulations and complete other duties as assigned.
POSITION- SPECIFIC DETAILS:
Appointment Type:Job appointment, probational appointment, promotional, or detail to special duty. If filled as a job appointment, there is a possibility that this position may be converted to a probational appointment should funding become available. Current permanent status classified state employees may be required to accept a probational appointment if selected.
Location: This position will be domiciled in Lafayette.
