Internship Assignment: Full Time - Summer 2026

Collaborate, plan, and execute on a pre-scoped continuous improvement project

Create relevant documentation, procedures, and training to implement change on the shop floor

Maintain a true shop floor presence by collaborating and communicating with shop employees and staff to gain project knowledge and buy-in for change

Present plans and outcomes to plant management

Internship Qualifications:

Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5

Must have completed 30 or more credit hours by the end of spring 2026 semester

Must be a full-time student attending an accredited two-year or four-year college/university

Preferred majors: Engineering, Operations Management, CNC Machining, or related

Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing principles and processes

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Technical writing and documentation experience

5S, Lean Six Sigma, and/or Lean Manufacturing knowledge

Data collection and analysis experience

Project management experience

Microsoft Office experience
