Job Title: Senior Civil Project Manager

Location: Orange, CA (On-site)

Salary Range: $160,000 - $180,000 (Flexibility up to $200K for exceptional candidates)

Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

About the Role

Are you a seasoned civil engineer ready to step into a leadership role with a clear path to Principal? This position combines project management, technical oversight, and business development-perfect for someone who thrives on both strategic leadership and technical excellence.

You'll lead complex wastewater and water infrastructure projects (75% wastewater), mentor project managers and junior engineers, and ensure technical quality across all deliverables. What You'll Do

Leadership & Oversight:Direct and mentor project managers and junior staff.

Provide technical oversight and stamp design drawings.

Occasionally engage in hands-on design and project bidding.

Project Management:Manage large-scale wastewater and water infrastructure projects.

Ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Client Development:Interface with public agencies and clients.

Develop new work and maintain existing relationships (book of business not required).

What We're Looking For

Qualifications:Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited civil or mechanical engineering program.

Extensive experience in process engineering and project management.

Technical Expertise:Strong background in wastewater infrastructure, sewer systems, and water/stormwater treatment design.

Ability to review and approve design packages; Civil 3D familiarity is a plus.

Attributes for Success:Proven leadership and mentoring skills.

Ability to balance technical oversight with business development.

Comfortable with occasional site visits (mostly Southern California).

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with public agencies.

Broad technical background in water/wastewater/stormwater systems.

Familiarity with permitting and regulatory compliance.

This is a Permanent position based out of Orange, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $160000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
