Position Summary
This is an administrative position assisting the Monitoring and Licensing Supervisor in the oversight of the licensing team providing administrative support, researches and gathers data, prepares draft reports and correspondence, recommends and implements operational administrative systems, and interprets policy in order to provide guidance and assistance to further the achievement of the goals of the Region.
The Work You Will Do
Collects and organizes operational data. - Provide oversite to ensuring licensing applications are received and processed in a timely manner according to licensing operation procedures and statues using current tracking systems including but not limited to Grid, iConnect, SharePoint, and Excel spreadsheets.
Collaborate with Monitor and Licensing Specialists to ensure licensing monitoring activities are completed on time and documentation is accurate, complete, and organized.
Provide oversite to ensuring timely remediation to licensing deficiencies by tracking dates that Notices of Non-Compliance are issued and dates that Plan of Corrective Actions are received by the region.
Maintain an up-to-date residential directory.
Enter new licensed facilities in Grid and ensure residential license information and credentials stay current and accurate in both iConnect and Grid.
Conduct checklist review of new licensure applications for readiness to proceed.
Provides administrative support to Licensing Supervisors and Monitoring and Licensing Specialists
Maintain email distribution list for licensed providers and facilitates Agency routine and as-need communication to providers via email. - Handle the receiving, filing, printing, emailing, and scanning licenses, application, and supplemental licensing documentation.
Send group home licenses and other regional communication to providers and applicants via mail, email, and iConnect.
Answer phone and email inquiries timely, taking messages, and routing inquiries to the appropriate staff.
Provide a model for excellent customer service to regional and state office staff, providers, applicants, and consumers at all times.
Issue monthly residential directory to regional staff, county officials, general public, and stakeholders monthly or upon request.
Prepare a regular report of staff performance on key indicators such as timeliness to deadline assignments as assigned.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Must have High School Diploma or its equivalent.
Must have moderate level of technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

As a condition of employment, a person appointed to a position in the State Personnel System is required to participate in the Direct Deposit Program. Rather than receiving a paper paycheck, your funds will be deposited directly into your account at your financial institution. This will be accomplished by Electronic Funds Transfer. Banks, savings and loan associations, and credit unions are eligible to accept such deposits. Retirement funds are also required to be in the Direct Deposit Program.
Background Screening Requirement
It is the policy of the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities that applicants for employment undergo Level 2 employment screening in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 435, Florida Statutes, as a condition of employment or being permitted to serve as a volunteer.
