Description

We are looking for a dedicated Supply Chain Specialist to join our client's team in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in optimizing supply chain processes, ensuring efficient inventory management, and supporting logistics operations within a manufacturing environment. This position offers the opportunity to contribute your expertise to streamline operations and enhance overall productivity.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage supply chain processes to ensure seamless operations and timely delivery.

Conduct inventory analysis and tracking to maintain accurate records and prevent discrepancies.

Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with organizational goals.

Coordinate logistics operations to ensure efficient transportation and distribution.

Monitor annual inventory and asset management to optimize stock levels.

Prepare and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Identify areas for process improvement within supply chain functions and implement effective solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain activities with business objectives.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain management or related roles.

Proficiency in supply chain logistics and inventory analysis.

Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies and asset inventory management.

Experience in handling purchase orders and tracking inventory.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively.

Familiarity with manufacturing industry processes and requirements.

Detail-oriented approach to analyzing and improving supply chain operations.
