Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for recent graduates with a background in Supply Chain or candidates with relevant purchasing experience. Entry-level applicants are welcome!

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in sourcing and purchasing materials, supplies, and services

Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing

Communicate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues

Support inventory management and track order status

Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement needs

Prepare reports and documentation related to purchasing activities

Qualifications:

Supply Chain or related degree preferred, but not required

1-2 years of relevant experience for candidates with a degree

3+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience required if no degree

Strong organizational and communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Long Beach, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
