As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Specialist in Amana, IA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. This is a driving post. You will remain highly visible, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with visitors and team members. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for irregularities.

Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the manufacturing and industrial location to help to deter unauthorized access.

Document and communicate observations, incidents, and/or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal procedures.

Collaborate with site personnel and/or emergency responders as needed to address security-related concerns.

Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance to employees, visitors, and/or contractors as required.

Minimum Requirements:

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

CPR certification is preferred.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
