Summary You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Business Operations Department (PERS-5) of NAVY PERSONNEL COMMAND. Responsibilities You will review and evaluate budget requests to report obligations and expenditures to management. You will track and control funds for programs to ensure proper usage of funds. You will interpret budgetary policy and regulations for customers. You will research budget, accounting, and fiscal information to prepare summaries for management. You will analyze budget, accounting, and fiscal information to provide advice and guidance to customers and management. You will analyze travel documents for accuracy. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing and interpreting sources of financial information and applying such to specific areas of work; 2) Using specific procedures or automated financial systems to research, review, process, or change accounting data in transaction files, ledgers, accounts, summary reports, etc.; and 3) Ensuring organizational financial practices are in compliance with financial management rules and regulations.
