We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our client's team in Memphis, Tennessee. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions while maintaining compliance with company policies. Responsibilities:

Process and verify invoices, ensuring all payments are accurately coded and recorded.

Conduct regular check runs to ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers.

Review and resolve discrepancies in invoices or payment records.

Utilize Yardi Property Management software to manage financial transactions effectively.

Maintain detailed records of accounts payable activities for auditing and reporting purposes.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper coding and classification of expenses.

Prepare and distribute payment reports to management as needed.

Respond promptly to vendor inquiries and resolve issues professionally.

Assist in streamlining accounts payable processes to improve efficiency.

Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.

Proficiency in coding invoices and processing payments.

Strong expertise in check runs and invoice management.

Familiarity with Yardi Property Management software is highly preferred.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong communication skills to interact effectively with vendors and team members.

Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices in accounts payable.
