Copywriter Manager - Marketing

We are seeking an interim Manager to lead our copywriting efforts. As a vital part of our in-house creative team, you will shape expressive, engaging brand communications that enhance the guest experience across various channels in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Your role will involve defining and refining our brand voice, executing marketing campaigns, and overseeing two copywriters to ensure every message is tonally on-brand and strategically aligned. You will act as a brand steward, partnering with stakeholders and leadership to drive impactful creative work.

Lead end-to-end creative development of print and digital marketing communications, ensuring messaging aligns with strategy and elevates brand storytelling across the customer journey.

Drive integrated content strategy and execution across brand channels, guiding junior creatives to produce cohesive, high-quality output.

Own adaptation of brand voice, ensuring consistency across platforms. Craft compelling, audience-focused copy and adapt tone as platforms, audiences, and strategic priorities evolve.

Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines, partnering with traffic/project managers to prioritize tasks and optimize resources.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or related field.

7+ years of experience in a creative agency or in-house creative team; retail experience preferred.

Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills; food writing experience a plus.

Portfolio showcasing compelling, diverse creative work across multiple channels and mediums.

Experience with SEO and content strategy, plus strong research and analytical skills.

Work Environment

This position is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week on-site in Newton, MA. It offers an awesome opportunity to work for a company that is continuing to grow.

This is a Contract position based out of West Newton, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.
