Job Title: Accounts Payable AssociateJob Description

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to join our accounting team for a 6-month assignment. The role involves accurately and promptly processing vendor invoices and payments.

Responsibilities

Enter vendor invoices and maintain the accounts payable sub-ledger.

Prepare monthly accruals and ensure compliance with approval hierarchy.

Review and route vendor bills for approval; reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies.

Assist with check runs, wire transfers, and payment logs.

Maintain vendor master records and support internal audits.

Respond to vendor inquiries and assist with month-end close.

Complete purchase orders, expense reports, and general ledger tasks.

Essential Skills

Experience in Accounts Payable.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Experience with ERP systems.

Knowledge of three-way matching and invoice processing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Manufacturing environment experience is preferred (familiar with 3-way match).

High School Diploma or GED.

2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable.

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Work Environment

This role is based in an office setting and offers a possibility of a one-day hybrid schedule. The work hours are 1st shift, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.

This is a Contract position based out of Cynthiana, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
