Description

We are looking for a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our client's team in Turners Falls, Massachusetts. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of daily administrative tasks for a non-profit organization. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities:

Handle incoming calls professionally, providing accurate information and directing inquiries to the appropriate team members.

Perform data entry tasks with precision to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

Support daily administrative operations, including scheduling appointments and managing calendars.

Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation as needed.

Maintain organized filing systems and ensure records are easily accessible.

Act as the primary point of contact for visitors, ensuring they are warmly welcomed and directed appropriately.

Collaborate with team members to coordinate office supplies and maintain inventory.

Monitor and address emails promptly, ensuring effective communication within the organization.

Provide receptionist duties, including greeting clients and answering general inquiries.

Facilitate smooth communication between departments to support organizational goals.

Requirements - Proven experience in administrative roles, ideally within a non-profit setting.

Strong proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate records.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize workload.

Familiarity with office software, including word processing and spreadsheet tools.

Experience handling inbound calls and providing exceptional customer service.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
