As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Route in Amana, IA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or address potential concerns.

Monitor for unusual activity or potential hazards within the facility and communicate findings to appropriate personnel.

Assist employees, visitors, and contractors by providing information and guidance as needed while maintaining a professional presence.

Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or maintenance issues according to Allied Universal protocols.

Collaborate with site staff and local authorities as needed to support a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
