Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Part Time Armed Security Officer for a State Facility in East Hampton MA

Tuesday and Wednesday 8 AM - 6 PM

Starting Pay is $25.88 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training / Opportunity For Advancement

Candidate is Required to Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Security Experience

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine armed patrols to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and professional demeanor will support a welcoming atmosphere while providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering the location as required by site-specific policies.

Assist with incident reporting and documentation as directed by Allied Universal and the client's protocols.

Support law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed during critical situations at the government location.

Remain alert and observant while on duty to help to deter security-related threats within the assigned area.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
