What's The Role
The Retail Sales Advisor is responsible for delivering a best-in-class customer experience with every interaction. You will help customers find the right products and services to meet their telecom needs, while providing friendly, knowledgeable, and proactive support. Your goal is to create positively memorable experiences every time to help us meet and exceed our sales and service targets.
You will work in a dynamic environment where products evolve, customers' needs change, and no two days are the same. Success in this role requires creativity, honesty, adaptability, and the confidence to think quickly to solve problems and close sales.
This role rotates across various functions within the store. You will be trained to perform each function and will support wherever needed to ensure smooth store operations.
What You'll Do
Store Greeter
Represent the Flow Retail Brand as the welcoming face of the store.
Demonstrate warmth, friendliness, and a genuine willingness to help.
Ensure every customer is greeted promptly, even while assisting someone else.
Assist customers with quick directions, basic questions, and navigating the store layout.
Help customers understand and use the queue system effectively.
Sales & Service Advisor
Engage customers warmly and confidently to explore their needs.
Use the Flow Retail Sales Cycle to guide customers and help them make informed purchases.
Be visible and proactive on the store floor, approaching customers who may need assistance.
Demonstrate products, especially mobile devices, to encourage buying decisions.
Ask the right questions and use closing techniques aligned with the sales process.
Upsell and cross-sell to maximize revenue opportunities.
Manage the entire customer journey, including account creation, billing system updates and scheduling device pick-ups.
Attend and participate in all sales and product training.
Cashier
Process transactions quickly, accurately, and professionally.
Handle cash from stores and external locations responsibly, ensuring accurate reconciliation.
Suggest accessories or add-ons to enhance the customer's purchase.
Use the customer's name, thank them genuinely, and invite them to return.
Operate POS systems and supporting tools confidently and accurately.
Maintain extremely low error rates in cash handling.
Complete end-of-shift cash reporting using prescribed tools.
Technical Responsibilities
Device Setup & Configuration
Set up smartphones, tablets and MiFi devices.
Assist with data transfers, backups, app installations and device updates.
Demonstrate features, settings and OS differences (Android vs iOS).
Internet & Home Connectivity
Provision routers, modems and TDD Home Broadband units.
Walk customers through Wi-Fi setup, password changes and security settings.
Support customers with basic troubleshooting for connectivity issues.
SIM & Network Support
Activate SIMs and eSIMs, configure APN settings and assist with device resets.
Perform diagnostic checks on malfunctioning or slow devices
Systems & Digital Tools
Navigate and utilize multiple internal systems for provisioning, billing, CRM and POS
Knowledge & Experience
Associate Degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification. Preferably in Business Sales or Marketing
1-2 years of experience (preferably in sales, retail, customer service, or marketing).
Computer literate with basic digital skills.
Clear and inspiring communication style.
Strong sales track record or natural sales ability.
