Job Summary and Responsibilities

All employees are expected to perform their duties in alignment with the vision and values of the organization. The person doing this job is responsible for a variety of tasks that lead to a high level of customer satisfaction in the most cost-effective manner. The FNP operates as a patient care clinician and a clinical staff supervisor. This position provides individualized care, focusing on family medicine and preventive health care. He/she oversees and supervises all clinical staff functions including planning, organizing, delegating and controlling the activities of the clinic under the supervision of the Clinic Manager.

Job Requirements

A minimum of two years experience as PNP.

Experience in working with the critically ill child in inpatient setting preferred.

The work experience shall demonstrate maturity and leadership abilities.

Current BCLS and PALS certification and Los Angeles County Fire Card required.

Demonstrates computer and computer peripheral equipment skills.

Clinically competent in patient care delivery and skilled in use of medical supplies and equipment. A

ble to utilize telephone, fax and copier machines.

May answer pages, carry a beeper/pager, and/or use a two-way radio.

Local travel may be required.

Nurse Practitioner licensure; a graduate of an accredited school of nursing; current licensure by Board of Registered Nursing, State of California.

Pay Range

$59.61 - $75.69 /hour
